The mysterious yarn bombers have returned the knitted Olympic figures to Saltburn Pier. After enduring heavy rain as they worked by torchlight on the pier in the early hours of the morning the new and improved figures were back once again on the pier.

Safeco Field Stitch'n'Pitch 2012

 The Mariner's won this year's Stitch 'n' Pitch!
This is moments before the gates opened to the public.  I was busy working the Serial Knitters Yarn shop booth.

Debbie Macomber and World Vision USA were at the Seattle Stitch 'N' Pitch last night to yarn bomb a statue and to build awareness for World Vision's Knit for Kids. Suzanne Tidwell did a great job covering the Mariner's glove.  This was in front of Safeco Field, Seattle.
Stitch 'n' Pitch was wonderful but not as busy or not as many yarn store venders.  But Serial Knitters Yarn shop had a wonderful time and we hope to continue attending the Stitch 'n' Pitch every year.

Tnna 2012

This year's TNNA was great.  The classes were inspirational and needed.  The show floor was full of new designers and lots of handyed yarn.  We were able to pick up a new Hand dyer called Sweet Georgia Yarn.  I can't wait to get the order in.  So now my needles are flying to make store models for the fall season.  There is just not enough time in the day to get everything done!

So now I can say it's been a LONG time since I have posted again. I have definitely change a few things in my life for the better. I am now teaching a few classes at my LYS. These classes are wonderful since I get to meet all kinds of people especially in my Beggining Knitting classes. I slowly working on my stash that I have been collecting for more than a few years. So I have started to turn my thoughts to designing a bit. Hopefully I can get started on that since I have a few ideas floating around. Please stay tuned...
